The correct installation and correct choice of electric actuator are equally important. The quality of installation is the top priority related to operating performance and cost.

The electric actuator must be installed in strict accordance with the engineering requirements and control system requirements. Once the valve fails, it will lead to fire, poisoning and other serious accidents and personal injury, and the loss is incalculable.

Before the installation of the electric actuator, the quality of the electric actuator should be checked, starting from the appearance inspection, and then check whether the parts and accessories are lost in the transportation process, whether there is a certificate, when it is necessary to carry out static characteristics of the inspection or special inspection. Electric actuators damaged during transportation cannot be used.

The variety and type of electric actuator are more and more, and the process pipe is more and more complex, so the installation is more and more difficult.

1, prevent leakage

Valve leakage is not allowed during installation. In the use of the electric actuator, if cracks or holes are formed in the stuffing box, flange gasket and other parts, leakage may occur. If the operating conditions of the fluid medium are very harsh, such as high temperature, high pressure, corrosive fluid, then the damage will be more serious, more severe leakage. There are many ways to prevent leaks. In the installation process, the choice of packing, sealing method, pressure reduction, with good sealing valve, are the factors that the installation personnel must consider.

2, install vent valve or discharge valve

(1) The design and installation of any pipeline will inevitably accumulate high-pressure fluid when it is cut off. If there is a significant risk of potential energy accumulation of fluid, a vent valve and/or drain valve should be installed on each side of the electric actuator.

(2) for the accumulation of a large number of high pressure material valve, to consider installing two vent valve or discharge valve. In this way, only a small amount of material accumulates between the two valves and the pressure of the system is gradually released. In this process, the electric actuator must be opened.

(3) A large amount of high pressure fluid accumulated between the cut-off valve may accumulate considerable force. If the operation of discharging the pressure of the electric actuator is careless, serious personal accidents may occur. After the system is cut off, the system pressure in the valve can be maintained for a period of time, if the valve is to be repaired and opened or removed, there must be protective measures to reduce the pressure, but also to discharge the accumulation of harmful fluid measures.

(4) Choose a vent valve that can limit the flow to protect the operator. If the fluid contains suspended particles, it can clog the vent valve, so a large vent valve installed at the top of the line should be used for vent.
